Residents may receive one health checkup per year free of charge. To apply, please call or visit the Comprehensive Health Center directly. The scheduling for the Basic Health Checkup varies according to your date of birth.

General Health Checkup: For those who are 41 years of age or older.
Younger Generation Health Checkup: For those who are between 16 and 39 years of age.
Adult Dental Health Checkup: For those who are 41 years ofage or older.
Periodontal Disease Checkup: For those who are 40, 50, 60 and70 years of age.

Members of Mitaka City National Health Insurance who are between 40 and 74 years of age.
Members of the Long Life Medical System (Medical Treat-ment System for Elderly People at an Advanced Age) who are 75 years of age and older. Eligibility: The period in which one may undergo a checkup varies according to one’s birthday. An examination slip will be sent individually prior to the period.

To apply for a checkup, write the type of exam you wish to take, your name, address, date of birth, age, telephone number and sex on a postcard and send the postcard to The Comprehensive Health Center, 35-28, Shinkawa 6-chome, Mitaka City 181-0004. (Applications may also be filed at the reception counter.)

This test may be taken at the public health center anonymously. The test is offered free of charge and anyone may undergo the test, regardless of where they reside. The results of the test are given to the applicant only.
