To enter a day-care center in the 2010 school year

Municipal and private day-care centers in the city will start accepting applications from December 1 (Tue.).

Applying to enter (or transfer to) any day-care centers in the city

Eligible applicants: (1) Those who want to enter (or transfer to) a daycare center from April 1 (Thu.). (2) Those who had applied to enter in the 2009 school year and are on the waiting list, and those who want to transfer to the other day-care center in the new school year.
Application Period: December 1 (Tue.) ~ 7 (Mon.) from 9:30 a.m. ~ 4:30 p.m. (Except noon ~ 1:00 p.m.)
*Open on weekends, too. Location: Public hall annex No.1/No.2 meeting room

Applying to enter a day-care center for newborn babies(Those who are expecting babies)

Eligible applicants: Those who are expecting babies before February 3(Wed.) in 2010.
Application Period: Apply during the general application period(December 1 (Tue.) ~ 7 (Mon.))
* If the actual birth date is after February 4 (Thu.), the application will be declined.

Distribution of the guide and application form for entering day-care center in the 2010 school year

They will be distributed in the middle of October at the Child Care Support Section (Municipal office 4th floor, No. 44 counter), licensed day-care centers, municipal offices, Nobi-nobi Hiroba and Suku-suku Hiroba.

Changing to a preferred school: December 9 (Wed.)/10 (Thu.) at the Public hall annex No.1 meeting room Documents missing from the application should be submitted byDecember 25 (Fri.).

To enter after-school day-care centers in the 2010 school year

Eligible applicants: Those who want to enter an after-school day-care center from April 2010 or those who want to continue after April.
Application Period: December 4 (Fri.) ~ 13 (Sun.) From 9:00 a.m. ~ 5:00 p.m.
How to apply: Apply at the Lifelong Learning Promotion Section with application form, Working Information Sheet and certificate of employment (specified sheet).
*Please refer to the “After-school day-care center entrance guide ~2010~”
* The guide is distributed at the Lifelong Learning Promotion Section, Mitaka Social Welfare Council, Municipal offices, after-school day-care centers in the city and municipal/private day-care centers.
