The Mitaka International Society for HOsPitality was established in 1989 and will be celebrating its 20th anniversary on the 23rd of November.

The Mitaka International Society for HOsPitality will hold a commemorative speech and concert for its 20th anniversary, with the hopes of promoting cross cultural understanding and bridging cultural gaps as well as giving you the opportunity to think about international exchange and communication.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the event.

Location Mitaka City Arts Center Concert Hall “Kaze” (6-12-14 Kami-Renjyaku, Mitaka city)
Program Part 1: “Doyo (Japanese traditional songs) in English Concert” by Greg Irwin, Singer-Song writer
He is going to sing his own translation of doyo (Japanese traditional songs) and school songs in English with his smooth voice.
Part 2: Lecture by Cross-Cultural Communicator, Goodwill Ambassador for UN-HABITAT, Mari Christine
Based on her own experiences living in Japan and other countries, she is going to talk about how to communicate with foreign residents from different cultures, and also about local volunteer activities for internationalization.
