Bicycle parking lots around the south exit of Mitaka Station Registration applications for FY2010 will soon be accepted for use of designated Mitaka station South Exit Area Bicycle Parking Lots (bicycles / motor scooters of 50cc or less).
Those who are registered for FY2009 and would like to continue using the parking lots in and after April 2010 also need to complete the necessary registration procedures. Applications are not treated on a first-come-firstserved basis.

Please complete and submit an application form by February 12 (Fri.) (postmarks up to February 12 are valid) with a document that confirms your work place or school (a copy of your company/school identification card, etc.), and, where appropriate, a copy of the license plate certificate for motor scooter users. Applications can be mailed to the“City Traffic Management Subsection, Road and City Traffic Management Section, City Improvement Department, 181-8555” or can be submitted directly to the subsection (Mitaka Municipal Office 5F, Counter No.51).

*You can indicate your first and second choice of parking lot.
Application forms will be distributed from January 27 (Wed.), at the City Traffic Management Subsection, the Municipal Office branch near Mitaka Station, and bicycle parking lot offices (1, 5, 9 on the map below). Application forms can also be downloaded from the Mitaka City website. (Japanese Only)
Result notices will be delivered to all of those who complete the necessary registration procedures by early March.
* Registration certificates to use bicycle parking lots will be sent by mail to applicants. (You cannot get them at the counter.)
*Mitaka Station Chuo Bicycle Parking Lot will be closed on March 31 2010.
