Cherry Blossom Festival

A “Cherry Blossom Festival” which announces the arrival of spring, will be held! Many enjoyable events will take place.

Hanami = Enjoying the beautiful sight of the cherry blossoms. A lot of people gather under the cherry blossoms to enjoy the scenery and have parties.

Inokashira Park

This is one of Tokyo’s best cherry blossom viewing spots.

International Christian University

A road lined with cherry trees that stretch in a straight line for about 600m from the main gate, will form a tunnel of cherry blossoms from late March to early April.

Mureno Sato Park

Shidare-zakura (weeping cherry trees), which fully blooms in the middle of April, is also called Ito-zakura because of the shape of the tree.

Sengawa Park

A lot of Yae-zakura (double-flowered cherry trees) will be in bloom in the middle of April.
