Duo recital by Ayako Oshima, an NYC-based clarinet player, and her sister Naoko Oshima. Please enjoy the excellent program with Japanese songs and clarinet classics.

Gagaku, Japan's oldest form of traditional court music, has been handed down without change for more than 1,200 years. Hideki Togi, who was a player for the Imperial Music Division of the Imperial Household Agency, will perform Gagaku, talk about its history and costumes, and introduce “Bugaku”— dance for Gagaku— with screen images.
